Project: Spark is an announcer for Amiibrawl and a participant in NAWBALL Fight Club. Kie is a skin 4 Shulk by default, but thanks to being repeatedly 3-stocked and rebuilt kie's functionally a random hodgepodge of other fighters held together with hopes, dreams, and duct tape. Spark uses kie/kir/kirself pronouns, as well as they/them and occasionally he/him.

Spark is very impulsive, very enthusiastic, and very loud. Kie tries to keep the mood up, and kir commentary is either cheering people on, teasing kir fellow commentators, or laughing like a weird bird. Due to being programmed as a combat robot first and foremost, kie's very eager to pick fights with the contestants, such as Tumblr Sexyman. This does not go well for kir.

Kie is one of Ark's creations, and is a prototype fighter intended to learn and evolve through winning and losing. In practice, Project: Spark is a glitchy mess prone to physical and mental malfunction. Ark attempted to balance this out by reconfiguring and upgrading kir whenever kie failed in a particularly spectacular way, but if anything that only made kir issues worse. Something must have worked eventually, though, because during what should've been standard testing Spark somehow awoke to new potential beyond what should be possible for a CPU. Unfortunately for Ark, one of the first things Spark did after kir evolution to Player status was bail on her.

Ray was built to replace kir, and kie's not thrilled to see them or Ark as competitors. That doesn't stop kir from rooting for Ark's other creations like Pink Drink, Matcha Latte, Calliope, and Fuzzy Peachu. Kie also favors Hash and V because of them both being glitches, and kie sympathizes with Hash in particular seeing as kir creator's the one that threw him into the Abyss.

In the NAWBALL Fight Club continuity, Spark is still actively being worked on by Ark; the strange quirks of the pocket dimensions and the people within make the Fight Club a good environment for stress testing, and while Spark is prone to mistakes kie's been showing improvement. Part of being actively worked on includes being actively upgraded with modular parts kie can switch between using the Variable Fighter System that Ark engineered. Kie switches fighters frequently as a result, and while Shulk remains kir baseline kie often switches to Mega Man skin 7, Sonic skin 7, or Roy skin 2. The Variable Fighter System is just as much a work in progress as Spark is, however, and overuse can scramble kir into a random fighter kie needs to adapt to on the fly.

nbfc!Spark admires Hackerman J0hn (due to having been (re)built using his blueprints as reference), and was devastated by his conversion into Liquid Crystal; kie already distrusted Prism, but after seeing J0hn get overwritten kie made it kir goal to beat some sense into him or get scrapped trying. On a less serious note, kie's exasperated by the Figureheads and their antics, especially Cinnabar's failboy swag.

Beverage-wise, kie is most likely a pumpkin spice latte. Kie is blissfully unaware of this.
